What’s Better? Virtual or Physical?

Congratulations: you started a business! You’ve taken the leap and, more importantly, believed in yourself enough to finally go after that which you’ve always fantasized about. The future is yours. But… now what? Well, you need an office. A place to store business related stuff and run said business. And perhaps, if you’re like me, your dining room is the place you choose to work. But if your new business requires, say, an official business address, then what?
There’re two ways to proceed: virtual office space, or physical. Let’s start with virtual. What’s it all about? Well, your business is brand new, so along with the official business address you need, some of the other perks include a live receptionist to help answer your calls (hi, that’s me), conference room space when you need it, be it for a meeting or because if you have to stay at home another second, you will scream. Additionally, you can enjoy flexible terms and only pay for what you need. This is very important—especially when your company is just starting out. Every dollar counts!
Or, option two: physical office space. Of course you’ll keep the professional address, but how about 24/7 access? Not to mention furnished and private. A physical office space also encourages team building and ensures equal working conditions. Not to mention allows for face to face interaction. No, really, networking is crucial, especially when you’re brand new. I recently witnessed a connection between two of our clients that will be beneficial for both parties long-term. This stuff is important!
