Stay Flexible, Friends
Stay Flexible, Friends
By: Lyndsey Walthall (Blog 33)
First of all, here’s something to make you chuckle this sunny Thursday morning: while Googling ideas for this week’s blog, one website suggested bacon. A whole blog. About bacon. Honestly, I was tempted. That being said, you’ll soon find this blog is, in fact, not about bacon, but if you want to enjoy bacon in your private office, feel free. (To share.)
Anyway, I thought it might be good to touch on flexibility. I feel like some of you, in your search for office space, virtual or physical or otherwise, might be thinking that by signing your name on the dotted line, you’ve sold your soul for X amount of time and cannot change anything when life inevitably changes. Here’s what I’ve experienced in three and a half years with my company.
Sometimes people get an office (awesome), then need to go virtual for a bit (also awesome). Other times people sign up for a virtual office, then a few months (weeks, days, minutes) later decide their business is doing well enough to warrant a physical office. Some of you might only need a part time space, or a conference room Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Maybe you haven’t reached out because you’re afraid we’re some money hungry corporation not willing to work with you. Well. You’re wrong.
The beauty of being family owned is that we can work with you. No, seriously, our assistant property manager, Sandy, is very good at it. So if you’re worried about flexibility, don’t be. We want you to succeed—and share your bacon.
