Let’s Get Social (For a Third Time)
Let’s Get Social (For a Third Time)

Rounding out our social media posts, let’s talk about the platforms I haven’t found to be as lucrative. That being said, this remains my opinion and personal experience managing my company’s social media accounts. Every business is different! Read on for entertainment’s sake, but bear in mind I am not a professional.
Out of all the platforms we’ve talked about the last couple weeks, I’d have to say Bing and Facebook are the quietest. (Honestly I’m not even sure how popular Bing really is. I didn’t use it until this job.) While Bing ushers in some traffic, it’s overall calmer and has a limit on pictures, too. So if you choose to go this route, just know it’s a constant rotation of deleting pictures to make room for new ones. Which is not terrible, not by any means, but it is, in my opinion, a point against Bing. It’s continuous effort with very little reward.
Now let’s move on to Facebook. I’m not trying to insinuate that Facebook is no man’s land because that’s certainly not the case. All I’m saying is, for my company, it’s not as busy as Instagram. Traffic flows and hits do happen, so it’s definitely worth the energy, but my advice, if you’re still navigating your online presence, if you choose to have a Facebook (which you should, it’s still exposure), back it up with something else. Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business. The list goes on. I also highly recommend linking your platforms together; IE, our Instagram and Facebook are linked. It makes it easier to go from point A to point B without frustrating/boring the person interested in your product.
