Is Your Personal Office COVID-19 Safe?
Is Your Personal Office COVID-19 Safe?

Last week we discussed the importance of making sure your office building is COVID-19 safe. IE, properly maintaining all HVAC and plumbing systems to assure highest efficiency. But what about your personal office space within said building? What’re some precautions you can take to assure not just your own safety, but that of the people around you?
- The first goes without saying: if you are able, get vaccinated. According to an article on cdc.gov, the best way to protect yourself from the unvaccinated is to get vaccinated.
- Keep a box of masks in your office, just in case.
- Hand sanitizer has been your best friend for months. Continue this relationship.
- According to the same article on cdc.gov, increase airflow supply to your occupied space.
- Keep the Lysol and Clorox wipes handy. Wipe down your desk, pens, computer, etc multiple times a day, especially if handled by someone else.
I know sometimes (a lot of the time) this pandemic seems endless, but we’ll make it. Until that day, it’s important we all do what we can to help stop the spread of this virus. Normalcy is important, but so is staying alive and healthy! That’s why at BCI we have masks available upon request, hand sanitizer constantly accessible and clean high-traffic areas throughout the day. Even a year and a half into this, the old saying still goes: we are all in this together.
